An inbound train on the Union Pacific Northwest line hit a car at a crossing Tuesday morning in northwest suburban Crystal Lake.
The train, number 604, started moving again at 6 a.m. after hitting a car at a crossing about 5:19 a.m., Metra spokesman Michael Gillis said.
Gillis said there were no injuries reported, and it appeared the car was unoccupied.
