Rain Moving Through Nashville with More to Come - Tennessean News

Rain is moving through Middle Tennessee Monday morning, with showers expected to continue most of the day, according to the National Weather Service.
The heaviest rain anticipated Monday is expected in the morning hours with a 90% chance of precipitation into this evening. An isolated thunderstorm is possible. High temperatures are expected to be in the upper 60s.
About three-fourths of an inch has fallen in Nashville since Sunday, according to the Weather Service. Areas in west and southern Middle Tennessee have had heavier amounts.
Hail was reported at about 3 a.m. in Coopertown. Metro dispatchers had two reports of wires down overnight.
There is a 60% chance of rain overnight and a 90% chance of rain Tuesday with a slight risk of isolated severe storms. The risk is mainly straight line winds and hail, according to the Weather Service. The high temperature Tuesday is forecast to be in the low 70s.
There is a 60% chance of rain continuing in the evening with isolated showers after midnight and temperatures dropping to about 50 degrees.
Wednesday’s forecast is for mostly sunny conditions with a high of around 59. The overnight low should be in the upper 30s. i
Thanksgiving Day Thursday and Friday are also expected to be clear with highs in the 60s.
There is a 40% chance of rain Saturday with a high of 65. Sunday’s high is expected to be in the upper 40s with a 20% chance of showers.
