ASME ANNOUNCES MOVE TO 2 PARK AVENUE - CENTRE DAILY NEWS

ASME, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, is pleased to announce that it will relocate its corporate office to 2 Park Avenue by the fall of 2012. Two Park, which is just across the street and a block away from ASME’s current location at 3 Park Avenue, offers a larger space, to better accommodate current and future needs.
Thomas G. Loughlin, ASME’s executive director, said “Today’s ASME is more dynamic and robust than ever, fueled by members, volunteers and staff, who serve our diverse global communities by advancing, disseminating and applying engineering knowledge for improving the quality of life. The office relocation is a reflection of ASME’s continuing growth, in terms of the programs and services it offers to our members, the broader engineering community, and the public.”
ASME will occupy both the sixth and seventh floors at 2 Park and has engaged the architectural design firm HLW International LLC to help with the design of its new office space.
