ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Moving day has been pushed back three weeks for the new C.S. Mott Children's Hospital and Von Voigtlander Women's Hospital complex.
AnnArbor.com reported the move into the $754 million University of Michigan Health System facility now is planned for Dec. 4. Moving day had been set for Nov. 13. Officials say state inspectors couldn't get to the complex until later than expected and the health system wanted employees to have more time in the building after licensing work is done to be more familiar with the complex. After five years of construction, the move is expected to take 12 hours. Patients are expected to be taken about 800 feet down an indoor path from the old Mott Children's Hospital.Source: http://www.clickondetroit.com/health/29528872/detail.html
