Advanced Lighting & Interiors, 6507 University Ave. in Windsor Heights, is having a sale to reduce its inventory in preparation for moving its business to Spectrum Lighting, 2540 104th St. in Urbandale.
Saturday will be the last day of business at the Windsor Heights location. Right now the store is in the final days of a six-week sale to reduce inventory there.
Advanced Lighting has been in business for several decades. It was purchased by what was called The Lamplighter — now called Spectrum Lighting — in 2009. The Lamplighter remodeled and expanded the Windsor Heights store and relocated Albright Lighting, a 5-decade-old business, to the Advanced Lighting location at that time.
All employees and services of Advanced Lighting will be transferred to the Urbandale location.
