RESTON — Engineering and project management firm Bechtel Corp. is moving 625 jobs from Maryland to Virginia.
Company officials say the firm's operational headquarters will move from Frederick to Reston. Bechtel's corporate headquarters are in San Francisco.
Virginia officials enticed Bechtel to relocate the 625 jobs with $6.5 million in state grants.
Bechtel officials say they expect to move into 200,000 square feet of leased space near Reston Town Center in the third quarter of 2012.
