Police say traffic is moving once again in the area of Sam Rittenberg and Dickens Street after traffic stopped earlier due to a fallen utility pole.
The Charleston Police Department says that a motorist struck the pole causing it to fall to the street.
Traffic is currently moving as police detour drivers away from Sam Rittenberg and Dickens Street which is blocked.
The motorist received minor injuries and SCE&G has been notified regarding the pole.
