BOSTON -- A Somerset man is dead after jumping from a moving car in Fall River, according to state police.
Authorities said Patrick Boynton, 26, of Somerset, was driving an Infiniti QX4 from Route 79 northbound to Route 6 westbound at about 2:20 a.m., when the front seat passenger jumped out.The passenger, who was identified as Clifford Whelan, 35, of Somerset, was transported to Charlton Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.Police were investigating what led to the fatal incident.
