COMPANY MOVING OPERATIONS TO GLYNN COUNTY

BRUNSWICK, Ga. (AP) — An engineering and manufacturing company is moving its headquarters from Augusta to Glynn County and says it eventually will create more than 50 jobs.
Scojet, a company with divisions for precision engineering, manufacturing and international sourcing, will move its headquarters and primary manufacturing operations from to the North Glynn Commerce Park.
The company says it will relocate more than seven management personnel and initially hire four or five machinists.
Scojet chief executive Gary Trzcianka says the company has grown too large for its existing facilities.
Trzcianka said he wants to begin construction of a building as soon as possible and hopes to be moved in within the next eight months.
