MANILA, Philippines - Actor Ryan Agoncillo denied talks that he will be moving back to ABS-CBN.
"Kalilipat ko lang, lilipat ulit? said Agoncillo, the first ambassador of Shell FuelSave on Monday during a Shell press conference in Makati City.
"Hindi. Wala. Sa ngayon, I maintain an open relationship with all networks," Agoncillo told abs-cbnNEWS.com and other members of the press.
Agoncillo said that even though he has a contract with a rival network, he still maintains an open communication line with other networks including ABS-CBN.
Speculations have it that Agoncillo is changing his network after his wife, Judy Ann Santos, is back in the limelight with a project with ABS-CBN. Santos is currently taping the local edition of "Junior Masterchef"
"So, the lines are very open, dahil naging mother stations (ABS-CBN, GMA-7) ko rin pareho. And alam din naman 'yon ng TV5."
Proud of Marcelito
In the interview, Agoncillo also shared his happiness over the success of Marcelito Po Moy, grand winner of "Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2".
Po Moy once joined Agoncillo's own talent show titled "Talentadong Pinoy" in a rival network.
"I'm proud of him. Congratulations sa kanya. You know, you can only be happy for someone who has won a contest whether it's your contest or what is perceived to be your competitor. I'm happy for him," the actor-host said.
Agoncillo stressed that what is important now is the fact that there are now shows for Filipinos to showcase their talents.
"Wala eh, talented talaga ang mga Pilipino. And I'm very happy na they're finding avenues to show their talents now. Otherwise since bini-view nating alternative ang talent nila, eh makikita lang natin sila sa entablado o special programs," Agoncillo said.
Aside from Po Moy, Angel Canlas and the Madrigal Siblings also joined Agoncillo's talent show.
Currently, Agoncillo is still busy hosting his talent show
